UNC Issue with Sonarr - Folders moving unexpectedly?

I’ve been using SickBeard, but wanted to give Sonarr a try.

Since I installed I’ve got folders that are moving of their own volition.

I’ve got a local drive, P:, mapped to \sds1\plex\ Within that folder I have some work folders, such as incomming, as well as another Plex folder that houses the content I’m serving via my Plex Server.

I installed Sonarr and had the folder mapping issue, so changed from my “P” drive to using the UNC “\sds1\plex\plex\tv shows\xxxxxx” for content.

A few days ago Everything seemed to disappear from Plex. When I investigated I found my content in “\sds1\plex\plex\plex\xxxxxxxx” instead of “\sds1\plex\plex\xxxxxxxx” where it should have been. Everything had moved down one level in the folder structure, and another Plex folder had been created.

Both Sickbeard and SABNZBD are using my mapped drive - P: and Plex is serving from “P:\Plex\TV Shows” etc,. and have been working correctly. I’ve double-checked all of their configurations and they are pointing to the . This only seems to have manifested since the install of Sonarr.

For the time being I’ve shutdown Sonarr, and am waiting to see if the issue recurs.

Anyone else having this issue? Any advice?

Sonarr would only ever move files if a rename was initiated by you (or someone else with access), but even then it wouldn’t move files outside of the series folder. If the series folder was pointed to a new directory then new files would end up there, but existing files would be unmoved.

Whats the series path for one of the series in Sonarr? Under \plex\ or \plex\plex\?

“\sds1\Plex\Plex\TV Shows\The Simpsons” is from Sonarr. It’s correct for the UNC.
