Unable to determine if file is a sample

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.6.1196 & 3.0.6.1265 on QNAP
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.12.0.122
OS: QNAP
Debug logs:
21-9-15 20:26:06.2|Error|DetectSample|Failed to get runtime from the file, make sure mediainfo is available
21-9-15 20:26:06.3|Debug|ImportDecisionMaker|File rejected for the following reasons: [Permanent] Unable to determine if file is a sample

Description of issue: I have noticed that recently every single thing I download on Sonarr doesn’t get post-processed and moved to the correct download folder. They all just sit in the Sabz completed folder. The issue from the Sonarr UI is something like:

’ Better.Call.Saul.S05E07.mkv

  • Unable to determine if file is a sample’

MediaInfo or rather more specifically libmediainfo does not exist or is not accessible.

The QNAP packages are maintained by the QNAP community and not the Sonarr team. Reach out to them for support.

If your NAS supports docker it’s highly recommended to switch as the NAS packages are typically poorly maintained.
