Description of issue:

I installed Sonarr on the mac and was able to configure all of the settings except for connecting the Newznab indexer for Nzbs.in…I’m getting the error mentioned in the subject line and told to see the logs, which I have attached here…

I believe I filled out the Newznab fields correctly based on the Nzbs.in site instructions (I had this working just fine on a Windows machine a few days ago), so not sure what’s happening…

Looks like there is a problem with mono 5.4 and macOS, it’s failing to make a secure connection. I’m not sure if mono 5.2 will work better, but it looks like 5.4 is only a couple weeks old. I’d suggest downgrading to test 5.2.

OK I downgraded to 5.2 and the same thing happened…log attached:

I just tried to add DrunkenSlug with the same error result.

DogNZB added just fine and is working (but I only have 10 day limited account so don’t want to use them)…

Can you retry with 4.8? That was the last version before the new TLS provider in mono. Since 10.8 is pretty old it might not work with mono 5+
