UI Doesn't Load, multiple program files reported as missing

When I launch Nzbdrone the following is output to the console and only the background of the UI is displayed, all other elements are missing:

Any ideas?

perhaps either a permissions issue seeing as it is on the desktop therefore on C:\ Drive especially if you are using Windows 8 where permissions are tighter on the Windows Partition

or Perhaps it could be an issue with the NzbDrone folder on the ProgramData Folder try shutting down NzbDrone (stopping the service is that is how it is run otherwise end the task in Task manager) then backing up the folder in ProgramData by navigating to C:\ProgramData\ in there you will see a NzbDrone folder copy and paste this somewhere else then delete folder so there is no trace of it in that folder then run the Service install in the NzbDrone Folder it will re-create this folder once that is done if you see no errors

Shut Down NzbDrone again and copy (not cut) that ProgramData folder back in there then start backup and see what you get

i would suggest moving the NzbDrone folder off the Desktop though and onto a partition other that C:\ in case you have to do anything with windows you won’t lose these

another thing to try is when starting NzbDrone back up try starting as Administrator to try and stop some permissions issues

If those files physical exist, you can see them in Windows explorer then it sounds like permissions, I’d recommend trying to download it again if any of those files are truly missing.

Like @protocol77 suggests, I’d run Drone from another location, even a folder on the root of C should be fine, if you later decide to run it as a service it might cause issues.

I don’t see this be Program Data related, since only settings and images for shows are stored there.

Hi @Markus101 and @protocol77 there was apparently an issue with the .zip source file that I downloaded from nzbdrone.com and not all of the files were expanded correctly. As @markus101 suggested I redownloaded the .zip source file from nzbdrone.com and it now is working correctly.
