Ubuntu just upgraded Mono to 4.6.0. OK?

My Ubuntu 16.04 system just upgraded Mono from V 4.2.3 to Version 4.6.0 as the subject says. Are there any known issues I should be expecting?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hopefully they fixed the bug from 4.4.1 when making HTTP requests. Other than that it looks it went live today as the release notes page isn’t even updated properly to say it’s live.

You’re living on the bleeding edge.

Great! Just what I need is to go buy another box of bandaids.

Seriously, I did my usual system updates again this morning and I had another buttload of Mono 4.6.0 updates. So far it looks ok. I also updated my Sonarr PPA source and got version 2.0.0.4326. Again, so far it looks ok.

I recommend running sonarr in a docker container. You don’t have to worry about Ubuntu updates or anything else polluting your runtime environment until you are ready to upgrade. There an image already built - just pull it down and run. I’ve been running like this about a year now and it’s been flawless.
