Something I have noticed is that the TVDB does not catch every show, due to their own rules, but TV Maze does. Given TV Maze is listed with The TVDB, IMDB and TV Rage on all TV listings, is there a way to get TV Maze to grab season info when TVDB refuses to do such?
Not without significant development effort.
Last we looked TV Maze had a fraction of the content that TheTVDB had and with most media center applications relying on TheTVDB for numbering we could spend many hours working on something that a few users utilize.
Is there anyway then of getting WWE programming added to Sonarr? TVDB does not have it, and I can’t work out any other way to get things like that added in
No there isn’t.
Using something like SABnzbd’s RSS feed processor or a watch list on your indexer is probably the easiest way.
If I done that (need to work out how to first) would Sonarr still be able to sort and order the shows in to folders? For me, sonarr doing such is a huge benefit to my watching.
No, something else would need to, Sonarr can only process things it knows about.
