Description of issue: I manually updated some images on TVDB for some shows and it’s been a few hours and the the images after I do a refresh in Sonarr are not updates.
I have checked the logs and also deleted all the old images just to see what would happen and the same images are downloaded again.
Presumably there is some kind of caching @ TVDB?
There is caching, but the image used is generally the highest voted image, if that hasn’t changed then the API would be still presenting the old one.

Right, The TVDB API only exposes the first image with the show/episode information. Other images can be fetched my getting the list of images, but skyhook doesn’t do that since there is no way to switch images within Sonarr.
But on TVDB this show does have a poster and fanart and neither of these are fetched?
Are there errors in the logs saying it failed to download the image?
OK, it finally has updated on 14th according to the logs - thats 4 days… I know its going to be a TVDB thing.
