Hey Guys -
I’m a long time Sonarr user and first of all wanted to thank the devs for all the work they do on it and keeping it free! I just had a small question which I couldn’t find an answer for elsewhere.
I have a handful of shows where the episodes are available, but Sonarr doesn’t see them due to their naming method on the indexer therefore never finds results even though indexers have the episodes and with the correct season/episode labeling. Is there a way (or future feature) where one could configure aliases for show titles to circumvent this or any other automated method?
Example
In Sonarr, I have “Dateline NBC” added and monitored. Sonarr checks for its episodes and never finds results on any of my many indexers. Despite this, many indexers return results when I search for “dateline” but I believe they have it listed as “Dateline NBC 2018” as the episodes are mostly in the following format: “Dateline.NBC.2018.06.08.The.Watcher.1080p.WEB.x264.”
I’m looking for a way to add the alias of “Dateline NBC 2018” or something else to the show so that Sonarr searches for it as well as the original title.
Thanks, Guys!
