TV show files deleted after import

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.3.645
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.4.0.198
OS: Mac OSX Mojave 10.14.6

Description of issue: I recently installed Sonarr for the first time. As the instructions suggested, I pointed it to my TV Show folder. Today I looked at my files, and for some TV shows the files have disappeared. I do not know why they have been deleted. Sonarr has started downloading replacement files for some of these.

I was under the impression that Sonarr would not alter any of my existing files on import, but this is evidently not the case.

To be clear, the folders that files have disappeared from are completely empty. Either the folders are untouched, or completely empty.

All help is appreciated.
