Trying to import series failing... :(

Windows 10

hello everyone, i’m new to Sonarr and this forum. So far i’m pretty happy with everything except 1 thing.

I have a lot of series and anime already and was trying to import a folder that has my current watched series.
The folder structure(named by filebot) is: The Last Man on Earth [TV-14, Comedy, 2015]
Inside of that is Season 1, Season 2, etc and the episodes are named according to The TVDB by filebot as well… when i do an import existing series from disk, i get:
Sorry. We Couldn’t Find Any Series Matching ‘The Last Man On Earth [TV-14, Comedy, 2015]’

How can i change Sonarr to “see” my folders? Would be crazy to try and rename them all just so Sonarr can see them.
Plex sees them fine.

Any help is appreciated.

There isn’t going to be a quick way to get it to process them, one way as you pointed out would be to rename all the folders the other would be to correct it when Sonarr comes back with the failed message:

And remove the extraneous data:

Improving matching when folder names are not what Sonarr expects is on our list of things to do.

oh Thanks… Didn’t know I could do that… That’s better than renaming all my folders. I did that to sort by Rating so i can separate shows and anime for my kids, etc. I will try this. Thank you.
