Hi, For Some reason I cannot get sonarr to find torrents that I know exist. Here is just one example of many I have tried for various series.
Top Gear S23E03 INTERNAL 1080p HEVC x265-MeGusta
I am performing a manual search for this episode so quality/tags etc are not taken into account. I get loads of results from the trackers that I know are hosting this torrent but never the ones that I am looking for (x265 / MeGusta)
As stated I have tried this with several different series with the x265 / MeGusta tag but I never get a single result for this group.
Check ((debug logs)) to see if those results come back at all, it sounds like they aren’t being returned in the results (maybe they are in a different category?) and Sonarr can only process the results it sees coming back. If you take the URL used for searching in the debug logs and put it in your browser (setting the API as required) you can visually see everything the indexer returned.

The torrent I want to pick up is “Fear the Walking Dead S02E03 720p HEVC x265-MeGusta” and this is available on TorrentDay
I cannot find the URL used for searching though? can you see why this release is not being picked up by Sonarr? It does seem that it is just the MeGusta releases that are not being picked up…
I have just tried a search of torrentday from with jackett with some interesting results…As you can see by adding X265 to the search the torrent is found but then if I remove the X265 it is not!

I have tried adding tags into the series with no luck, any ideas on what I can do to force sonarr to find the torrents?

You can’t force Sonarr to include a specific term when searching. This sounds like either an issue with Jackett or TorrentDay’s searching, you shouldn’t need to include x265 to get x265.
Tags will only restrict which results Sonarr will grab when they are actually returned.
with jackett, there is a list of available categories, unfortunately there is not a category for “all” you can only choose from the list below, I though I would take a punt by entering 2000 which is not in the list but worth a try and it works, Sonarr automatically & manually found the torrent I was after for all my series searching for X265 hope this helps someone else out, thanks for your help though markus
