Torrent downloads: not retrying if profile filter not met

Hi

First of all - fantastic product! I love it, and very much appreciate that all this good work is available free.

So I have Sonarr installed on my Linux-based synology NAS. It works a treat, but I have noticed that after an episode is released, and the automatic download search returns no viable downloads (usually due to quality profiles, such as “720p and maximum size 1gb”) - that it shows as missing and never retries, even when valid quality profile matches are released the next day. Is this by design? Or is there a setting that I have failed to find & configure?

I do see a number of posts that sounds similar to this, but they all seem to refer to retrying failed downloads, as opposed to retrying unfruitful searches…

Not a huge problem by any stretch, just that ice been missing a few shows in my otherwise-automated solution. Hopefully it’s something simple I’ve missed!

Cheers
Matt

Sonarr keeps looking, but won’t download anything that is rejected automatically, it just hasn’t found anything acceptable.

Hm OK, something must be wrong with my install.

Whenever I hit “automatic” search for an old missing episode (red on the calendar), it finds a valid download every time.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll try to get some verbose logging
