Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5344
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): N/A
OS: Windows 10
Debug logs:
Note, I cleared the logs before generating the error and the following is all the log contained after the error was generated:
*20-4-10 10:25:10.9|Warn|NzbDroneErrorPipeline|Invalid request Validation failed: *
- – Title slug ‘north-and-south’ is in use by series ‘North and South’*
Description of issue:
I have three similarly named TV series:
- North and South (1975) (https://www.thetvdb.com/series/north-and-south-1975) [TVDB ID: 287409]
- North and South (https://www.thetvdb.com/series/north-and-south-1) (1985) [TVDB ID: 81645]
- North & South (https://www.thetvdb.com/series/north-and-south) (2004) [TVDB ID: 79321]
I have successfully loaded ‘North and South (1975)’ into Sonarr, but regardless of which order I attempt to add the remaining two TV series, I receive the ‘Title slug’ error specified in the debug log.
This issue has been raised in TVDB (https://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=51157&p=138283&hilit=north+and+south#p138283) with the suggestion to ‘add the year to the series title’, This suggestion received the following reply:
The first has a year, to set it apart from number three. The second has a different title (and instead of &) and doesn’t need a year.
Is there a solution/workaround in Sonarr? If so, what is it?
Thanks in advance for any help.
