Timeout loading NZBDrone, slow boot

Hey everyone,

Recently I’ve noticed that my computer boots slow as soon as I arrive in windows and shows aren’t downloaded automatically. I was browsing through the event log and found this:

A timeout was reached (120000 milliseconds) while waiting for the NzbDrone service to connect.

It halts my boot but also doesn’t download the episodes properly. I’ve removed and reinstalled Sonarr but to no avail. What could be wrong? The service starts automatically. Is it dependent on another service maybe?

Thanks in advance.

There are a few threads on this from the past couple of years, but we’re no closer to a solution. I had this same problem with a service from MS as well (Exchange 2003) and was never able to find a solution.

I’m not sure what the issue is as we’ve added dependencies and added a longer delay, but it persists for some users. Using the startup folder instead of the service might be your best course of action.
