The Goldilocks criteria

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5344
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Windows 10
Debug logs:
Description of issue: My question concerns episode file size. For an hour show I’d like a file to be at least 800 mb, and no more than say 2.2 gb, but I’m most happy when they’re in the 1.2 - 1.7 gb range. However, if I specify a range of 800 mb to 2.2 gb, I often get the larger file size even when ones in my “target” range are available. Is there an alternative to setting the limit to 1.7 and then hunting if it’s not filled?

Thanks

The only time Sonarr would allow grabs outside that range is if it’s a premiere or a finale, in which case it allows double the size, this is because TVDB doesn’t expose a runtime per episode (they just added it to their site, but not the API) and longer premieres/finales do pop up.

There is no way to prefer a specific size range within a min/max range.
