The 100 naming issues

Just as of episode 6 of “The 100” nzbdrone has been acting weird. As each new episode comes out it will download the latest episode, name it with the name of each preceding episode (even though it’s only one episode) and then delete all the old episodes. I even manually downloaded some of the episodes that nzbdrone deleted and then set them to not be monitored but the next episode it did the same thing. For example this is what episode 9 is named and all other episodes have been deleted (file size is 350MB):

S01E01-02-03-04-05-06-07-08-09 - Pilot + Earth Skills + Earth Kills + Murphy’s Law + Twilight’s Last Gleaming + His Sister’s Keeper + Contents Under Pressure + Day Trip + Unity Day

Any ideas what might be wrong?

i have noticed with this show when the episodes are downloaded some are named like the.100.101.HDTV.x264-LOL

the problem is they don’t scan in and i think it is because it thinks the full title includes the 101 on the end so by changing it to the.100.s01e01.HDTV.x264-LOL it grabs and scans in fine that s01 and e01 makes it detect it is the episode number and not part of the title of the show

the only issue with this is i find myself having to manually rename them

Whats the filename of the imported episode (you can check it via episode details activity or via history)? If its as protocol describes its picking it up incorrectly due to the poor naming.

I’ll have to look into a fix for it.

I have no issues with this show at all.

Yes, they seemed to be named like protocol said but for me all previous shows are deleted as I guess it’s thinking it’s got all the show in that one. I even have the monitoring status off for the files that have been downloaded but this still happens the next time there’s a new episode.

Choose a better quality like the web-dl releases.
Those groups use normal season and episode naming .SxxExx.

Not convinced it is a group naming problem. This has happend today for me too with the following file:

The.100.S01E10.HDTV.x264-LOL

That should have been named correctly but instead it got some crazy name like the original poster.

@Olaf is that the release name or the filename once you extracted, it makes a significant difference.

@markus101 redownloading to see what the extracted filename is. will post again here to confirm

You can see the file name in episode activity or history as well.

@markus101 checking the activity i see that it is shown as “the.100.110.hdtv-lol” so it does look like that is the issue. wonder why they would do that? lol are usually very good.

just to further confirm i was correct the latest episode for me today did the same thing again

here is the original folder named correctly (perhaps what got Olaf initially confused)

but here is the actual file inside that folder

Yeah, same here except, like before, all previous episodes were deleted and episode 10 was renamed as

S01E01-02-03-04-05-06-07-08-09-10 - Pilot + Earth Skills + Earth Kills + Murphy’s Law + Twilight’s Last Gleaming + His Sister’s Keeper + Contents Under Pressure + Day Trip + Unity Day + I Am Become Death.mp4
