Synology 713+ Invalid Path

Hi Markus,

I am having great difficulty using Sonarr on Sinology DSM 5. I am choosing the right folders but it shows invalid path. please help.

1. You’re adding the wrong path, you need to add the root folder (/volume1/PLEX MEDIA LIBRARY/TV), not a path to a specific series.

2. This is a permissions issue, you will need to give the nzbdrone user read and write access to all your series folders, one of these threads may help: https://forums.sonarr.tv/search?q=synology%20permissions

Thanks. However i try cannot access and change the nbzdrone user 's permissions in DSM, since it seems to be created by the system. Any idea what to do? (user group’s read/write permissions granted for the folders.)

From another Synology user:

just change that folder and all its parent folders so that the “users” group can access them, you can do that from DSM, for any other solution you’d need to use the command line.

you need to give the group sc-media read and write acces to tv show folder, this group contains the sonarr user.
