Symlink/copy problem

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4753
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): Windows
OS: Windows 10 x64 Pro
Description of issue:
I noticed yesterday after Sonarr only cymlinked half a show that Sonarr wasn’t moving folders anymore. I’m not sure what I changed. I’m using Deluge and would like Sonarr to download the files to V:\tmp (What I have deluge set by default to do) and then move to the show folder (so V:\show\Season01.l33t.x264) so I can seed the file while Plex/sonarr can still see it.

Right now there’s duplicates symlinks(?) where there’s the original file deluge is using in /tmp and then a sorted version (show\Season 1\ugly.episode.title.mkv) in the \media folder. I prefer this becuase there’s been a few times where the symlink doesn’t work properly and sonarr misses a few episodes and I end up having to manually move everything in deluge anyway. What settings do I have to set to do this? I swear I had this before but I must have changed something by mistake setting up something else.

Sonarr has never supported symlinks, it supports hardlinks, which appear as a separate file, but the disk space isn’t consumed for each location of the file. As long as the files are on the same volume and hardlinking is enabled in Sonarr, then those should be hardlinked files so the disk space is used once and deleting either file will leave the other file intact.

My bad, hardlinks. Is there any way to disable hardlinking and just move/copy the files to correct location? I swear I saw a setting for it but I can’t find it.

Have you read the ((FAQ))?

You can disable hardlinking, but that’d be a copy if the torrent is seeding (it won’t be moved) and you’d use 2x the disk space, Sonarr doesn’t move the file and update the client to seed from a new location.

Ok thanks, I wasn’t sure if these were the only two options.
