Stop looking for Episode after its been seen

Okay,

let us say that I watched “Heroes Reborn S01E03 In The Mask WEBDL-720p”. last night. And this morning, the episode was replaced with “Heroes Reborn S01E03 In The Mask WEBDL-1080p”.

Just as I want it, provided that I have not already seen it. . . :unamused:

My idea is that the same way Sonarr now communicates with Kodi for example. Sonarr could also listen for a “watched flag” ones received, stop looking for better quality for this watched episode. :stuck_out_tongue:

PS: If little to interest for this I could come up with a couple of ways to implant this. Then all that has to be done is add it.

Not a dev, but the issue I see is that sonaar has no way of knowing what’s been watched. Or even HOW you watch it.

Some ppl use Kodi, some use Plex. I bet some even use a stand alone player like vlc.

I would think the better solution here would be an api call by the player (Kodi/Plex/etc) to stop monitoring an episode after it’s been watched.

Oh, I thought that was clear? how would you recommend I re-write that so its obvious ?

You just did. It’s ok. I’m also just waking up.

Sonarr does already have the option to automatically unmonitor episodes if you delete them.

Yup, but thats not what am asking/looking for :kissing:

Sounds nice! it can easily be done without trakt due. If you use Kodi that is
