(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here) Description of issue: I’ve been trying to get Sonarr to pick up my Stephen Colbert episodes, and I found a thread from 2015 which said there was an alias for The.Late.Show and Stephen.Colbert and Late.Show all matching one another, but none of my episodes are being recognized. I have everything listed under Stephen.Colbert but I see no way of manually adding an alias myself.
The matching will be from Torrent/Usenet when it picks up the RSS. You’ll need to name it exactly as on TheTVDB for it to pick up existing episodes I would guess.
OK, but according to a thread from 2015 there was aliasing setup that would match The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (TheTVDB) and Stephen Colbert (how scene naming works). Was that removed?
Are you having issues with Sonarr recognizing existing files (in the series folder)? If so, Sonarr doesn’t use the series name at all when importing, it’d come down to how the files are named and if the correct series type is used (files name with a date will be ignored if the series type is not set to Daily).
Definitely needed. We need to understand what’s not working and debug logs will provide that information.
Welp turns out this was a major case of me being a moron. I didn’t have it set to “Daily” but had it set to “Standard” instead. Changing that option made it work.
