SSL - run as administer on mac?

Sonarr version (Sonarr Ver. 2.0.0.5301):

I’m trying to get HTTPS/SSL working and just starting.

I turned it on and trying to load the address with new port numbers and https and chrome immediately says connection closed.

The note in Sonar says restart running as administrator - how can I confirm this is being done on Mac when I hit restart from the settings?

That help text is for Windows. For macOS you’ll need to follow the Linux steps on the wiki, though ti may be better to use a reverse proxy due to the SSL limitations under mono.

Thanks for the reply…okay tell me more about reverse proxy…what does that mean and require?

That’s something you’re going to need to research on your own, you can use apache, nginx, caddy and plenty of other applications as a reverse proxy.
