Spartacus - Sonarr Will Not Add / Recognize Media Files

Hey Guys -

I made the switch from SickBeard to Sonarr (well, NZBDrone) a year or two ago and absolutely love it! When i recently tried adding the show “Spartacus”, I ran into issues I hadn’t ever seen before.

My Issue
In a newly added show in Sonarr, I have strange messages about “scenes” per episode plus cannot get an added show to recognize the properly named local media.

How I Added the Show
I added it as I do most shows. Via “Add Series” in Sonarr, I searched for and added it, and having Sonarr create the path and all metadata. Once added, I visited the show’s page which listed all 3 seasons and a Special section. However, I noticed something different immediately:next to each episode is a yellow exclamation sign. When hovering over it, it shows “scene” information…

or says “scene number hasn’t been verified yet” depending on the episode.

Anyways, I created the standard Season 1, 2, & 3 folders plus a “Special” one in the show’s path (which Sonarr created) and added the media where needed. Once done, I choose to update show information and scan disk. Usually, this populates each season’s episodes with the local media found - however - it didn’t “find” a single file.

I’ve tried many things, but still cannot get Sonarr to find the media. Below is what I’ve tried so far. i performed a scan / update disk after each, but so far no luck:

• Deleted & re-added the show in Sonarr
• Renamed each episode’s file to be in a commonly used format which has always worked for me (Spartacus.S01E01.mp4)
• Renamed shows using FileBot which found their matches
  Currently, the format is “Spartacus - 1x01 - The Red Serpent.mp4”
• Restarted Sonarr
• Tried having Sonarr search for episode and download it via SAbnzbd. It succeeded in finding and downloading it, but never moved the downloaded file into the shows folder nor added it as being local
• Checked logs (Details below)

With the filesnames correct and still not working, I ran an Update Disk / scan while Sonarr logging was set to “Trace.” below is a screenshot of what the log files showed when scanning one of the show’s episodes (which didn’t add)

I’m sure that the metadata imported is incorrect - but - is there any way to fix my local copy by renaming the episodes to something specific?

BTW - I’m using the latest develop release of 2.0.0.3417

For ppl reading this thread later: The best course of action is to hop into the freenode #xem irc channel and let them know about it, that way they know a series needs fixing.

Spartacus is a bit tricky atm coz neither thexem nor Sonarr can map it entirely.
Refresh the Series and refresh System->tasks->Update Scene Mappings.

I just explicitly removed the Specials (Gods of the Arena) naming exception coz it would import incorrectly. So that will not import automatically.

You can just drop em in the series folder with the appropriate name (Spartacus) and number (S00 for Gods of the Arena, S01-03 for the rest).

Don’t know what you did, Taloth, but I just did a refresh (which I’ve done 20 times recently) and it seemingly found everything - you’re the man (or woman, perhaps:)) Hope this show’s worth it!
