Sonarr won't start after fresh install of Windows and restored backup (error pic)

SOLVED!

Sonarr version ([won’t start]): Latest
OS: Windows 10
((Debug logs)): Can start to get them

Description of issue: I did a fresh install of Windows 10 to combat other unrelated issues I was having. I did a backup of everything including Sonarr. When I restore it using this method HERE I get THIS error when I try to start Sonarr.

Log files are in C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\Logs.

Are you absolutely sure you did remove the existing nzbdrone.db-wal and nzbdrone.db-shm files?

By remove, you mean close Sonarr, remove files (in my case I moved them to another folder as a backup because once I get this error, I have to completely uninstall Sonarr to start over again, I also get THIS when it is uninstalling) then drop the backed up files in their place, then restart Sonarr? Yes. Am I doing it right?

How did you make the original backup? Just copied C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone? was Sonarr running at that moment?

I came here to edit my last response.

First off, thanks for sticking with me. But I got it working. I failed to read the part where I should delete the ‘.db-wal/.db-journal files if they exist’. I think this was the ticket.
I am so relieved!

Yup, that’s why I mentioned those explicitly. It’s common mistake in backup restoration, hence the bold emphasis in the wiki, guess I ought to make it red or something.

Awesome that you got it working.

LOL, Red with flashing HTML5 graphics for dummy’s like me that only read between the lines.

Or maybe we should just do what we always try to do: assume ppl don’t read and deal with it automatically… problem is that I don’t know how
