Sonarr Won't Open on El Capitan 10.11.1

Hi,

I’ve read through the forum posts regarding Sonarr not working on El Capitan 10.11.1, but I can’t seem to resolve the issue. Can someone please post the latest guide with what we know on how best to get it working?

P.S. Sonarr guys - amazing work, love your product!

Thanks

You’ll need to check the log files to see why its not booting, if its related to a database (SQLite problem), you will need to do one of the following:

logs.db - delete it and start Sonarr again
nzbdrone.db - Restore the database from backup: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/Backup-and-Restore

Markus,

I was able to get Sonarr running; however, I’m having trouble restoring my settings. When I go to “’/Users//”, I see this:.

I’m not very familiar with “.config” files, but I don’t see a path like that in the screen shot above. I saved my NzbDrone folder that I’m trying to restore and placed it in the '/Users// folder, but Sonarr doesn’t appear to be picking it up.

Sonarr is saying my AppData directory is /Users//.config/NzbDrone.

Thanks for your help, and sorry for the hassle!

.config is a hidden folder, you will either need to show hidden files and folders in finder via a terminal command or use “Go to Folder” in Finder.
