Description of issue: I set up Sonarr (and Radarr) about two days ago, initially with qbittorrent. Everything seemed to work fine for a while, then I noticed periodically it would give me a Unable to communicate with QBittorrent. Error: ConnectFailure (Connection refused): if I left it alone for 20 or so minutes I could hit test again and it would work and the error would clear itself. I thought this might be QBittorrent related, and since I’ve wanted to try Deluge anyway, I made the switch and got Deluge setup yesterday. Same issue though, at system boot everything would work fine for anywhere from half an hour to a few hours, but eventually it would give connection errors. Sometimes hitting test under download client cleared it right away, sometimes I’d have to leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then test again. This morning I went out for a few hours and it had just added a full season of a TV show to Deluge and seemed to be working fine. When I got back it had transferred/renamed half the episodes and was showing a connection error again. This time however I can’t clear it. Waiting still gives an error. System restart still gives an error. Restarting Deluged daemon doesn’t do anything. Same issue with Radarr. Starting around noon today it just won’t connect. Linux Mint isn’t set to auto update, and it stopped working while I was out, so nothing on the system should have changed.
I just enabled QBIttorrent again and it tested ok, at least for now, so it might be an issue with Deluge
Is the deluge webui connecting to the client when your system starts. I am using deluge with no problems apart from having to manually connect the webui once in a while when it doesn’t connect automatically on starting my computer before deluge is able to communicate with it.
Yes! That solved one problem. After loading the webui and connecting it’s up and running again. Now I just need to figure out how to stop it from disconnecting itself randomly throughout the day.
