Sonarr with remote Deluge server

I’ve been trying to set this up and need some guidance.

I have the develop branch of Sonarr running on my home computer and Deluge running with a webui on a Feral seedbox. I want to use Sonarr to add torrents to Deluge and then manage them and fold them into my main tv library once they’ve arrived on my home computer.

I just can’t work out how to set it up in Sonarr. If I go to Download Clients, add a new Deluge, point the host to the url I use to access the webui or the server root without a port specified (as I do with Remote Torrent Adder) I get [POST] internal server error: /api/downloadclient/test as a popup error. I’ve messed around with it but I’m not too technical and have made no progress. With the port I found in the connection manager, I get Unknown exception: Invalid URI: Invalid port specified.as an error in a pink box at the top of the page.

I don’t know how to incorporate remote path mapping into this either.

Could anybody clear it up for me?

At the moment Transmission works with Feral, but not Deluge since we didn’t add the same URL Base parameter, we’ll need to add that before it will work.

I’m relying on Deluge plug-ins currently but I’ll try to find an alternative with Transmission. Thanks for the quick response.

So how does it work with transmission, it doesn’t seem to work for me…

You add a URL Base to it (advanced settings need to be shown).

This is now supported for Deluge in Sonarr’s develop branch as well.
