Sonarr using NFS Shares

Hi,

Just been building a new setup at home using my Synology NAS for storage and a Linux VM running the latest version of Ubuntu. Got Sonarr installed and working fine but I can’t seem to use my NFS or CIFS shares on the NAS. I’ve mounted the shares using fstab and can browse/create folders on them fine as both my user or the Sonarr user. When I go to add a series and browse to the path (which is fine) and then click the green arrow I get “Folder is not writeable by user sonarr”.

I’m using a guide of htpcguides.com (I’m not a linux person) for the Sonarr install which uses a script to run Sonarr on boot as the user ‘sonarr’. All works fine but can’t get this storage to work :frowning:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
