Sonarr + Transmission- Not finding downloaded files

Weird problem here,

Sonarr successfully sends a torrent to download, but upon completion it is not found within Sonarr.

Sonarr checks path ie. /media/TV/Big Bang Theory for a specific series
but Transmission downloads to /media/TV and does not put it in the right folder so that Sonarr considers it part of my library

FreeNAS build

Looks like you’re mixing paths, not advisable in any scenario. You’ll want a dedicated folder for Transmission, e.g. /torrents outside the path where your series live, and let sonarr be the single program in control of /media/TV.
Not sure if you have, but consider setting up Completed Download Handling as well, so sonarr talks to transmission and handles moving of completed files to the library destination.

thanks man, that was the issue… it now works flawlessly and goes from Incomplete to Series folder

P.S New issue I keep getting an error “Unable to write to Drone factory folder”

My drone factory is set to /media/Incomplete with a Interval = 1

Not sure if its worth fixing but the folder has full r/w for all users…

If your CDH is working, you can disable Drone Factory completely. Set the interval to 0 and/or delete the entire path of that setting.

If you want to keep using it, /media/Incomplete is not sab’s Temporary Download Folder I hope?

Preferrably you set it to e.g. /downloads/manual or something, so you can drop files in there which you have downloaded yourself outside of sonarr. That’s how I do it, with the interval to 0 (no automatic scanning). I use it very rarely nowadays, so constantly scanning that folder doesn’t make much sense.
When I have copied some files in there, I go to Wanted > Missing in sonarr, and click Rescan Drone Factory Folder to let sonarr sort the files.
