Sonarr + QNAP help

Sonarr version (exact version): V2.0.0.5163
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): V5.10.0.160 (Installed V5.12.0.266 yesterday)
OS: QNAP Version 4.3.3.0546
Debug logs: Trace and debug files here:

Description of issue: When I try to add a Indexer (I’m using nzbfinder.ws) then it gives me an error about dns settings. I have tested Sonarr on my PC with nzbfinder and it works. I changes my dynamic IP from the QNAP to a static with the DNS Servers as 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1

If add a nzb to SABNZBD it works fine so its connected to the web. I installed the new version of QMono (V5.12.0.266) and still the same issue with Sonarr. But now my Radarr is giving me this issue when I manually try to start it:

Segmentation fault
Illegal instruction
Radarr is disabled.

Updated my issue due to a new version of QMono

Bump… Anyone?

Had another report on qnap previously, though I don’t think we ever had a follow up on the forums. A couple ideas:

  • Check IPv6 settings
  • Try a different network adapter

A couple mono GHIs are open:

Ok so i manage to solve the service issue. Ended up that the SABNZBD changes something to the file structure. So installing that first fixed it.

My only issue now is that both Radarr and Sonarr gives me a DNS not resolved error when i add a index. Index wirks on my pc and with SSH dns does resolve… what else can i do???

@markus101 either i didn’t understand those links correctly or its just not working. As far as i know Sonarr is dependant on QMono, right? If so onevof them has an issue because the DNS resolves find in SSH.

On another forum i was given this info:

seems armv5 Qmono is not albe to resolv DNS…

on what i read, it needs a curl version embeded that i do not include in this version (not sure but good to have a try to compile it inside in next release)

No idea uf i can add this myself??

curl is unrelated, Sonarr only used curl with mono 3.x/4.x as a fallback when it couldn’t establish a secure connection.

I’m not sure what the issue with DNS lookup under mono is on that platform, the links were others with the same/similar issues, one being a bug with IPv6.

Ok cool. Can I just disable IPv6 all together then?

If you don’t need it for anything, it’d be worth trying (not sure how to do that on QNAP).

Disabled it and didn’t work :frowning:
