Not sure if this is by design or a bug, but I notice that when a download is done and it starts its processing to copy it off to my NAS (which given its size might take 30-60 seconds) the Sonarr GUI basiclly locks up. As soon as the copy is done, it works just fine again… Does Sonarr use any sort of threads to offload this work so it doesn;t freeze up everything while it does this?
The UI and the processing of completed downloads (and all other background tasks) are done in separate threads. I have never experienced the UI locking up as a result of processing completed downloads.
