Sonarr on a VBox says another instance is running

I’m migrating my download/sonarr management to a vbox system. I currently have an HTPC on the same network running Sonarr without issues, and it continues to work as of now. Since getting the vbox (W7 ultimate, newest Sonarr version), the program installs fine but will not resolve the host to allow me access to the console. I switched the port of my other installation (the HTPC) from 8989 to 9090 assuming that was the conflict, but the issue remains. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times, but the log continues to tell me there is another instance of Sonarr running. I even went so far as to restore my vbox to ensure no settings/services were being held. No change.

I was hoping someone might have an idea of what to do next. The logs aren’t helping much, and I can’t determine where my problem lies.

We’ll need to see the log files as well. ((Trace logs)) (you can enable that in the config file)) will give the most details as to why it’s failing.

Thanks in advance for your help, but I ended up getting it going following the SP1 update and installing the newest .NET frameworks (4.6.2 seemed to do it). I’ve seen some other threads about that being the issue, and it doesn’t explain things at all but it is working for now.
