I basically have an older synology ds411slim that runs Nzbget but struggles with sonarr so I have decided to use a raspberry pi2 to run both.
I am using videosort script to move to my Synology NAS this works great but I get the error below in Sonarr:
Manhattan.S01E07.HDTV.x264-LOL
No files found are eligible for import in /opt/nzbget/downloads/completed/tv/Manhattan.S01E07.HDTV.x264-LOL
I assume that because the file is gone after being moved (video sort script) then it won’t pick it up as it shows the above under activity tab.
I can also run nzbget on the NAS (with acceptable performance) but I have the same issue.
What’s the best soloution? Is there another way sonarr can pick up the info such as reading smaller files left behind but removing the mkv’s as the pi is not built for storing these large files.
I am thinking while typing so bare with me…
If I run NZBGet on the NAS am I correct in assuming the only way it would work is leaving a copy in completed folder?
I’m confused.
so we have an mkv in one folder (completed) and a copy in my /volume1/video/tv folder??
Does anyone have a working setup similar to the above? i.e Sonarr and NZBget on pi2 and moving the file to the NAS but being able to use CDH to say yes everything is good?
If you want to keep using VideoSort, disable Completed Download Handling in Sonarr, alternatively you could disable Video Sort and use Sonarr to sort them.
Thanks Markus, I had the NAS shares on the pi mounted as /mnt/nfs/downloads and /mnt/nfs/video/tv.
I assumed it would work OK as I know having things on different IP’s is not really supported…sonarr is great btw!
You can have a remote download client, the paths just need to be remapped if they are different (different from what the remote download client reports the path as and what Sonarr can access the files at), just need a Remote Path Mapping to solve that.
mmm ok, I think I understand what you are saying.
So is the setup of using a pi2 to run both Sonarr and NZBget, then moving the videos off to the NFS share located on my Synology NAS and being able to use CDH possible? and has anyone successfully managed this yet?
UPDATE:
I disabled VideoSort and let Sonarr handle the renaming while leaving CDH on…same result
