Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.4.1058
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Windows 7
Debug logs: I just enabled debug logging
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here. Post in .txt not .doc, .rtf or some other formatted document)
Description of issue:
Sonarr has been running for over a year without any issues. Recently (as in the past few days) I have been finding downloaded files hung up in the Que. Sometimes they eventually sort themselves out but not always. I have also noticed that if I go to “system” sonarr is having a very difficult time filling in the disk space information which in the past I do not remember seeing.
My config is sonarr running on a PC (Win 7) with SAB on the same PC. Downloads are saved to the pc hard drive and then moved to series folders on a Synology NAS. Sonarr is running out of the startup menu and not showing up as a service.
Log file:
https://file.io/R9Fsl3bh9WR0
It is VERRRRRRRRY slowly importing files (which are like 60 mb files)
the linked file is gone. you might want to select a longer timeframe (if thats an option)
can you tell if its the actual copy taking a long time?
or if that is normal then is starting the copy is talking a long time?
the import part is batched, its just a scheduled job/task, so if that is not running as often, or is having issues, then it would cause it to sit in the queue for longer. its supposed to run every minute though.
maybe also check if you have the “skip free space check” option disabled and turn that on to see if it makes any difference? its the only thing i can think of (without seeing the logs) that might be having an issue and that you also have control over
its under settings > media management (its an advanced option so you need to show those)
have you tried to manually copy a file to that location to see if its not just a NAS drive/LAN speed issue?

I can copy files to the NAS at full speed. I don’t know if that’s a V2 screenshot or not but I don’t have that option in my advanced settings. I do have the minimum free space block set at 100
same v3 version as yours. linuxserver.io based docker image though. maybe its not a windows option.
the only thing odd in the debug logs are the diskspace commands seem to be taking 10+ minutes? which doesnt make much sense from the timestamps that they have. theres nothing else really in between the move and the link.
there are others further down without any diskspace time weirdness though and are still taking 4 minutes to transfer so its probably not related.

maybe try trace level logs, those might show something happening in between?
I may have figured this out. Checking the server (that sonarr is on) this morning I had a message about a new storage device added which didn’t make much sense. There was a 2TB WD green drive in the machine that I didn’t use but never bothered to take out. My guess is that it was failing and when sonarr would ping the machine for drive space it wasn’t properly responding which created issues for sonarr / the PC.
I’ve pulled the drive and now sonarr is quickly reporting drive space in system status. I’ll keep an eye on it for the next few days and see how it is.
