Sonarr not letting me do manual backup

RebornOS - Arch based:
Debug logs:
Sonarr not letting me do manual backup:

I just went through and manually searched for episodes Sonarr didn’t grab. After selecting the copies I wanted removed them from the calendar. I then went to do a manual backup so I could save it. When I click backup now i only get failed. debug logs are below.

/tmp/sonarr_backup doesn’t exist, Sonarr uses the TMPDIR environment variable to get the temporary directory, if another location should be used you can override it.

OK thanks but you lost me. Are you telling me that the normal directory for Sonarr backups no longer exist?

The temporary directory where they are created does not exist, Sonarr will create the sonarr_backup folder automatically, but either it’s immediately being cleared during the backup process or /tmp does not exist.

So how do we go about finding out which and fixing the issue? On another note that I’m sure is related to the backup issue when I do sudo systemctl stop sonarr so I could uninstall, reboot, reinstall the service does not stop. Sonarr is still running.

EDIT:

Just had a look in /tmp/ and no sonarr_backup.

@markus101 thanks for the info, much appreciated. Now for some reason the backups are working again. I just did 2 without issue as a test, then I did the update that’s out there, stop Sonarr’s service without issue and restarted it without issue. I honestly have no idea why it was behaving like that but after the update and stopping and restarting the service did another backup as a test and all seems good. Thanks again.
