Sonarr not importing a show due to samples all from IPT. The downloads never actually finish because of the samples in the episode folder. If you try to manually import it overwrites the actual video file with the sample.
Sonarr won’t fail an import because a sample file exists, it won’t import a sample file automatically though (which makes sense).
Are the releases RARed? If so you you need your torrent client to extract them so Sonarr can import them.
If you tell Sonarr to manually import the sample file it will overwrite the actual file, you don’t want to do that.
I’m not entirely sure what your issue is, if you can clarify what the issue is and hastebin ((debug logs)) showing the problem, we can try to help.
Ok so you are right, they are .rar files and the sample was the only video file sonarr found. Now my issue is I guess I cannot get the auto extraction to work. I have tried batch files running 7zip to auto zip rars and place them in the same folder sonarr watches for videos to import and nothing I seem to do works.
You need to tell your download client to extract into the same folder. Sonarr will look into it and import the extracted file.
If your workflow doesn’t support having your torrent client unrar you can try this script. I use this before I move the files to the import directory for Sonarr.
Sorry guys my issue was the egg for extractor was not working in deluge for some reason it shows up but when you check it it never shows up. SO I went a different route. SO Sonarr will skip the samples as long as there is a larger video as it should, my mistake. Now I am using a piece of software called extract now that monitors my complete folder and extracts all zips or rars in the current folder and sonarr does its thing perfectly. Thanks for all the help. Now if only KAT would have usable torrents all the time, seems half of the ones sonarr grabs are 0.0KiB, I have to go in and remove it as being grabbed and manually find it somewhere else.
