so i downloaded 4 seasons of a show, and i realized today there were all in French, Sonarr did not highlight they are in French for some reason athough it is highlighted in the tracker that it is in french
because of this thread i decided to check on the season packs i downloaded last couple of months, i found 14 seasons of various shows downloaded in Germany and what not
Sonarr relies on the release name to determine the language, what was the release name?
The tracker in question has an API and is native within sonarr, so it should be easy to catch that the release was foreign without checking the release name
And to answer your question, no…the release title didnt have any hints it was in french, but most season packs on this tracker doesnt have any word on the title to identify it as foreign , they instead use their api to detect that

The btn API doesn’t have language information, the website does, but not the api. So the Release title has to contain the appropriate language tag, which most scene groups do, but user uploads might not.
PS: Don’t expect them to add it to the api, they have other things to do.
