Sonarr not grabbing new episodes via NZBGet

Windows 7/64bit, Sonarr v2.0.0.3357 and NZBGet and NZBGeek is my indexer and my account on there is active.

The past 24-48 hours, Sonarr has stopped grabbing new episodes. No changes to my server. If I manually (or automatically) search for one of my missing shows, Sonarr will happily start downloading it.Left to its own devices, Sonarr thinks there is nothing to download when there definitely is.

To help troubleshoot this, should I enable trace or debug logging and then do what exactly? (Let it sit for a 15-30 minutes then manually download?)

I’ll leave it “busted” overnight and see if it ends up grabbing anything.

((Debug logging)) that shows a wanted release being rejected on the feed, we’ll need to know the reason why it was rejected.

Had to chop the log in two. Part 1 and 2 below:

Thanks!

UPDATE: I think I noticed something that may be a clue… shows that I have configured to download as SDTV, Sonarr appears to grab those by itself with no intervention. 98% of my stuff is configured for 720P so it will be a while before another SDTV one comes up for download but I’ll keep an eye on it.

I don’t see any RSS results processing any releases that should have been grabbed, but I do see:

15-10-15 22:31:00.2|Info|Nzbget|Adding report [The.Originals.S03E02.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION] to the queue.

Something else that’s weird…I have Satisfaction (2014) added as a series (720p) and last night, it grabbed it all by itself. So whatever is going on, doesn’t appear to impact SDTV nor does it affect ALL shows that are set for 720p… just some 720p stuff.

Any other logs you’d like me to grab?

Just RSS logs of a wanted release on RSS being rejected.

I’m assuming the RSS feed log would be from NZBGet? If so, here you go:

It will have the failures in there as well as I think where I went ahead and told Sonarr to ‘automatically’ grab them. (Heroes Reborn s01e05 would be an example.)

No, RSS Sync is a function of Sonarr, as explained in the FAQ.

Where are the RSS logs from Sonarr located? The only log file I found in Sonarr was the one I posted to Pastebin a few replies back. Is the RSS stuff logged separately somewhere?

They’re part of the same log, but they need to be debug logs and contain an RSS sync with a wanted release in the feed, your logs had neither.

Sonarr logging was in debug mode and it happened again. Vampire Diaries and Heroes Reborn didn’t download by themselves. When I forced an automatic search, it grabbed both with no problems. But, unlike last time, ‘The Originals’ downloaded all by itself when I checked this morning.

The logs don’t indicate any issues with Vampire Diaries and I would expect it to be grabbed, but the logs don’t show the completion of the RSS sync. It looks like it shows the end of one RSS sync and then the start of another, do you still have the logs that follow: 15-10-22 21:13:57.7|Debug|Parser|Episode Parsed. The Nature of Things - S55E01?

Sorry, nothing past that point. My wife was REALLY wanting to watch those shows so I copied the logs out and clicked ‘automatically’ so it could grab them. Next week, if it fails to grab those 2 shows again, I’ll be sure and leave it in debug mode for a few hours after they are posted to Usenet (maybe until the next morning) and paste them again.

You say that the logs didn’t show any obvious signs of why Vampire Diaries didn’t download… what I did just now was deleted both series from Sonarr and added them back. Maybe something is just corrupt!? Will let you know.

Guess we can close this issue. Deleting the problem shows then adding them back to Sonarr fixed the problem. Everything downloaded just fine last night all on its’ own.
