Sonarr not finding shows from Jackett / possible due to search criteria

Hi,

I am trying to investigate why Sonarr is not finding any episodes of a show on a tracker I added fro, jackett. The index is Avistaz and the show is called Infinity Challenge. When I do a search on Avistaz I can find the latest episode 492. I can also run the search in Jackett and it will find “Infinity Challenge E492 720p NEXT”

When I run the search in Sonarr it doesn’t find anything. I am trying to figure out why it is not seeing the episode on Avistaz. When I look at the trace log I do see the avistaz link is being considered.

I also noticed that when I do a manual search the episode comes up as “Infinite Challenge - 3x492 - Thrilling Hide And Seek (2)” and does not find anything.

I think this may have to do with the way the episode is being searched. Is there a way I can tell it to not consider the season but rather search only by episode number so instead of 3x492 it just looks for 492?

That looks to be the issue. Sonarr will be unable to search for episodes named that way and due to the fact that they are incrementally numbered RSS likely won’t work because they’d be considered season 1 episode 492. Setting the series type to anime might have worked if the number was continued from episode 1 in season 1 to episode X in season 3, but even that will assume they are season 1.

Understandable and thank you for replying back. Is there anyway to add a generic show with a custom template?

No that is not possible and not something we have planned to do at this time.
