Sonarr will no longer connect to Nzbget or SABnzbd since the new March 16 update (v2.0.0.3000)
Just get error msg “No download client is available”
I am getting the same thing… I went in to verify my client settings for SAB and when I run test it fails stating that I don’t have a category set, even though the helper on that line says it’s optional.
Also getting this error after update. Ugh!
Everything was working fine last night but I see a new update occurred to Sonarr today and now I have an error message that says ‘No download client is available.’ When I test the connection to SABNZBD I receive the error message ‘Testing SABNZBD failed.’ I also have Couchpotato set up with SABNZBD and it still works just fine. Something appears to have changed in Sonarr that broke this connection.

Sorry about this, I just pushed a fix to develop and will have it released to master as I can verify that everything is working.

We added a warning to the category field so new users will add a category. Accidentally this was treated as a hard failure when building the list of ‘active’ download clients.
Evidently everybody on the develop branch is already properly using a category, coz it’s been in there for like 2 weeks, and nobody reported issues.
