Hello! I am new here and want to first say thank you for all the work on Sonarr. I am excited to be investigating moving off SickBeard.
The part of the setup that I am getting the most stuck is in the path/networking/media files space.
My Media files are all in my Drobo which is attached to my Mac Mini (also the same machine which hosts SAB) and I have Sonarr installed on my Raspberry Pi.
I am unclear on how to setup “Remote Path Mapping” (or even if I need to).
Also, How can I convince Sonarr to see the existing TV shows on my Drobo to know what I am missing and to add Tested and verified shows that I already have?
You will need a remote path mapping to let Sonarr know where the files that SAB downloads are, since SAB and Sonarr aren’t on the same machine.
You will need to mount the share on your rpi in order to use it with Sonarr.
Why separate Sonarr and SAB? They will both run well on the Mac mini and make the setup easier as well.
Thank you for your speedy reply. I prefer to keep sonarr on the Pi as my poor Mac Mini is really doing too much. I also, my be a bit traumatized by how poorly SIckbeard operated on OS X although that is certainly not the only reason.
Anyhow I do understand that I need to mount the Drobo share on my pi and I just can’t figure out how. I have in fact, googled the issue and cannot seem to come to a clear instructions that I can make sense of.
