Sonarr Moving Files from Download Directory to TV Directory

Hi guys. First post

Anyway I replaced SickBeard with Sonarr a few weeks back, and recently I’m starting to see that Sonarr is moving downloaded files away from the downloads directory (c:\Downloads) in to the TV directory in a folder named like the show (example F:\TV\Castle Rock). I like to keep my files in the Download folder temporarily since I don’t keep everything I get

Strange thing is that it still creates a folder in ‘Downloads’ named after the show, but the file itself is automatically moved to F:\TV… .

I re-installed SickBeard, let it run and download a few shows and they stayed in the ‘Downloads’ directory.

Is there any setting that I should double check in Sonarr to make sure that the files stay in the Downloads directory?

Sonarr won’t see a download as complete if it’s never imported to the series folder and Sonarr moves the files to the series folder you specified when the series was added (a folder for the series is created within the root folder).

If you don’t want Sonarr to move files, turn off Completed Download Handling, with the con that it won’t ever see them as complete.
