So sonarr works great most of the time. The only problem is every so often when i load it up, instead of going to localhost:8989 it trys to go to localhost:119 and i get an error stating “Google Chrome’s connection attempt to localhost was rejected. The website may be down, or your network may not be properly configured.” And at the bottom it says Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
I haven’t changed anything at all and the only way to fix this is to load up a backup copy and then I have to deal with getting all my shows re-updated to show the ones ive downloaded versus the ones i haven’t, ect.
What can i do to fix this and why is it doing this to begin with?

Its the autocomplete setting of your browser, when you navigate to Settings it sees a field for port and injects 119 which was likely entered in SAB/nzbget.
Its the same helpful feature that remembers the contents of a form if you navigate to another page then back to the form (instead of having to type your reply again).
So even if I manually type localhost:8989 and it shows the same thing it’s just the auto complete? I use the shortcut and it’s always went to 8989 and then randomly takes it to 119 with no way to fix it other than reinstall sonarr
Your browser is changing it then you are saving the settings which causes it to get set to 119.
You can fix it when it happens by fixing the port in config.xml (https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/FAQ#i-got-a-pop-up-that-said-configxml-was-corrupt-what-now)
Not sure how to remove that setting from your browser so it stops happening though.
I deleted the config file, and it brings up a new tab of port 8989 but still shows a connection refused message. If i uninstall it and reinstall it works fine for a few days and then starts doing it again. Only loading a backup fixes it, and even then not every time.
I’m not sure what else to try, and i absolutly love Sonarr
