Sonarr hangs while importing

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5153
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 4.8.1
OS: Ubuntu 16.04.4
Debug logs: https://pastebin.com/nSXHcwZq
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here. Post in .txt not .doc, .rtf or some other formatted document)
Description of issue: Since I updated to 2.0.0.5153, I’ve been having serious issues importing episodes of shows over 1gb. I have my system connected to another server via CIFS where the data actually lives, and it’s now hanging while copying a file, and then I have to kill the process, delete the .backup and ~partial files while hoping that mono dies outright so I can restart the process. Otherwise I have to restart the system altogether.

mono has issues copy files over CIFS shares we recommend NFS instead. I haven’t seen it hang outright, but have seen it silently truncate files.

OK. I switched from CIFS to NFS and it seems to work perfectly, so that might have been the problem. Thanks Markus, and yeah, it was hanging. I’d leave it overnight and it would just never recover, with Sonarr itself winding up with a 504 (nginx proxy redirect) after a while.

@markus101 I can say that I’m experiencing the same behaviour where hanging occurs after several hours with NFS.
I’ll try to collate some logs and open a new issue
