Sonarr fails to start on Windows

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.3.842
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Windows 10
Debug logs:
Description of issue: No longer running, process won’t start.

Not sure why it suddenly stopped working. Was last on it maybe few days ago (week max) but didn’t change anything or update anything, just checked what was in the queue.

Thank you for your help, let me know for anything additional.

Check the logs and Windows Event Log.

Hi mate, I have and I did attach the event viewer logs, not sure why it’s not showing. The logs of Sonarr didn’t help me at all, didn’t even look like any errors of it not loading. I’ll try ataching again.

How about posting logs on pastebin or something that doesn’t require requesting permission to help you

Ah, I did add it to the “public” folder so I didn’t think permissions we’re needed.

Thanks though regarding pastebin, never used it before.

This is the sonarr logs - last updated 01/06/20

this is my windows event logs:

I’ve just reinstalled Sonarr, and it opens the page but it’s blank with no data - yet the db file and config are still in the ProgramData area and the service won’t run. So it seems the service is the issue?

That is all that is in the sonarr log when you try to start it?

Looking for only sonarr related errors in the event log might not help you. I had an issue last week where it would crash instantly & it was because net http was in a state of not running but thinking it was so it couldn’t stop/start (port issues)

So i would look beyond just “sonarr” related logs as other things can easily factor in as well.

Taking a look now, I see lots of warnings about windows things.

The rest of the stuff in the logs seem to be about pulling things about series and not communicating with my plex server but it’s cause the IP has changed but not managed to get onto Sonarr to update it.

Fixed it after installing V3 again and then removing it, then reinstalling it again. Thanks for your help Ausin and responses.

Np… I don’t run it as a service personally but maybe a windows update messed something up there. I use the exe personally.
