this is the 4th or 5th time ive noticed this in last month or so and believe only 1 of those was repacked… the releases are always from IMMERSE. the releases play just fine, simply mediainfo cant get the runtime, mediainfo can get the video and audio stream data tho, just no runtime.
Anyway from my understanding of the logs, if it cant get the runtime it wont import it, it just keeps trying over and over DELETED in a loop. Force import from Activity doesnt allow it to import either. logs here: DELETED
It would be good if sonarr did 1 of the below in my opinion
Allow it to be Force Imported from Activity Screen by User Intervention (does show the button already but not working)
Allow it to be imported normally if runtime cant be read
Just blacklist it automatically so it can look for another one
thx
Edit: Now 2 releases today have the same problem - DELETED
Not exactly by force import, but this is being worked on.
The runtime is used to determine if its a sample, we’re not going to bypass that automatically.
You could use release restrictions and ignore any IMMERSE releases, BATV is releasing internals for everything they do anyways because the release quality has been pretty poor by IMMERSE. A bit more of a technical reason why BATV is doing it: http://scenenotice.org/details.php?id=2262 (albeit a bit dramatic).

yep but isnt no runtime rather different to a runtime within the expected range of a sample?

EDIT: dont really want to lose out on getting there releases for old series/seasons etc, will have to just manually intervene everytime they do this i guess.
It is, but could also be a junk file with a video extension, which we wouldn’t want to import, one of those damned if you do, damned if you don’t situations.
ok marcus, i have logged a issue with mediainfo guys and see if i can submit the files to them to fix the problem reading the runtimes in some of their releases.
