I currently use Sonarr to download TV episodes via qBittorrent, using Rarbg as an indexer. Often episodes are missed and not downloaded, because i don’t have Sonarr turned on 24/7. This means that i constantly need to use manual search to download the missing episode. Is there anyway to have Sonarr periodically look though my library, and download missing episodes. This way, even if i miss an episode when it is released, Sonarr will eventually find it missing and download it.
Sonarr will only use RSS feeds for finding releases automatically (as explained in the ((FAQ))), Sonarr will attempt to use RSS pages to fill in missing periods of time, but that requires the indexer to support paging of the RSS feed, which RARBG does not support. We have some ideas on how we might be able to improve this in the future, but nothing is built in currently.
Right now the options are:
To have Sonarr online more to check RSS feeds, even once an hour would be sufficient for 99% of cases
Use the API to search for missing episodes periodically
