Sonarr doesn't use all available episode information

BUT, Sonarr only shows 1 season on the show page, so it never tries to search for season 2.

Sonarr (and trakt) gets series information from TheTVDB, if TheTVDB is out of date then it will need to be updated by someone. It’s free to create an account and add the episode information to TheTVDB so anyone can do it.
