Sonarr constantly reverts to old backup on restart

Hi,
I’ve got a strange problem that keeps persisting (both with sonarr and radarr), whereby when I restart the app it seems to revert back to an old backup state. So new TV shows I’ve added disappear, and the monitored status go back to old versions. Additionally I need to update again to the newest version.

I’m running it on a raspberry pi 3, which means I usually shut it down from the command line - although I only do this when things are occasionally playing up. But I’ve seen this occur even when I restart through the web interface.

Any ideas?

So I just deleted the entire .config/sonarr folder and readded all my settings and indexers etc and updated to the latest version. Added a couple of movies to test. Restarted and it back to an old backup??? from about 5 months ago. and not up to date. I have no idea where these backups are coming from.
Its like the whole folder is being generated from a backup somewhere.

Sonarr doesn’t ever restore from backup. Not sure how it’s getting restored, but it’s not a functionality of Sonarr.

Thats weird then. It must be some sort of startup script I run on boot, will try and hunt this down

Right, I think its an issue with my sd card Im running on the pi. Seems like for the last 5 months the sd card has been broken and in a read only state - which means every time i rebooted, it would be back in the same state it was in May. Then sonarr / radarr would do their thing and update/check files etc and kind of sort it self out - which meant I didn’t properly notice for this long. I’m actually a little amazed its still managed to ‘work’ for this long when it resets every couple of weeks.
