Sonarr Cant Move Files

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4855
OS: Ubuntu 16.04

Hi I have the error:

Couldn’t import episode /downloads/The.xxxxxxxxxx.mkv: Access to the path is denied.

I am running Sonarr in a docker container thats has the paths set correctly.
The container has been installed under the user sonarr which is a member of the group plex.
The downloads folder and the destination folder are owned by the users sabnzbd and plex respectively. Both are under the group plex. The group has rwx permissions to both folders.

What could be wrong with this?

chmod 777 to both the downloads foler and the destination folder makes it work, although not the ideal solution.

Any ideas on the issue would be great.

Thanks

sry, mate, we’re not here to troubleshoot generic docker permission issues. Cross-container permissions and users are a pain, but not our problem. I suggest you review docker documentation on that.

If there’s another user willing to help you then we won’t stop them, of course.

No worries, thanks
