Sonarr cant find episodes of 'How It's Made: Dream Cars'

I just added said show but Sonarr wont grab any episode from any series even though a lot of them are on Dognzb and nzb.su. I’ve set the quality to ‘Any’ and tried manual searches but it comes up with nothing. I’m still new to Sonarr and this is the first show i’ve had any trouble with. If anyone has any ideas i’d really like to hear them. :smile:

Check debug logs to see which URL Sonarr is using to search, could be a few things:

  • wrong TVRage ID
  • Title doesn’t match the name its released under

After doing an auto searh for one of the episodes the log just shows the following;

Not sure how to interperate that i’m afraid. The only thing i’ve noticed is that the nzb’s i can download manually from nzb.su dont have the colon between the words Made and Dream which Sonarr does. Could that be the problem?

No, Sonarr strips that out automatically.

I was more curious what the URL which is only shown when debug logging is enabled.

Looking at it on my end I see its searching by TVRage ID (which is good), but likely your indexer (not sure which one you’re using for searching) does not have it linked to the proper TVRage ID or not one at all.

At this time this is an indexer issue and an’t be immediately fixed on Sonarr’s side, but we do plan on falling back to searching by title in the event there are no results: https://trello.com/c/ppIUUW5I/856-fallback-to-title-search-when-no-results-are-found-for-tvrage-search

Thanks for the info. Is the added feature of searching by title something that’s coming soon or is it not really possible for you to say?

Pfmonkey and Nmatrix were (as of 12-12-14) indexing this show and Sonarr finds up through S02E12 fine on these indexers; I don’t see anything posted anywhere since the 12-12-14 episode (Dognzb must have something wrong because it obviously shows up in a manual search as you said). Maybe contacting Dog if you don’t have access to another indexer and asking them to change something. Otherwise, I think nmatrix is open and makes a fine compliment to the 2 indexers you list for not much money.
